Ideal Crate Training Schedule for Puppies

7:00 AM

Wake up time! We like to start our days off early here. When puppies first wake up we go straight outside to potty. Give them about 10-15 minutes to potty. When outside I allow puppies to focus on going potty so minimum interaction.

7:30-8:00AM

Breakfast time! This is one of the three meals your puppy will be eating. Allow puppy to eat as much as they would like for 10 minutes. Understand a puppy can become easily distracted so allow them time and space to focus on their meal. After 10 Minutes is up remove food. Allow puppy to also have water. Remove water when you remove food.

8:30 AM

Outside to potty. Give Puppy around 10-15 min to potty. When outside I allow puppies to focus on going potty so minimum interaction.

9:30 AM- 12:30 PM

Now that your puppy has gone potty outside, it is time for for a crate break. Consider this your puppy nap times. Puppies very much like kids can become overstimulated and need a break to regroup themselves. Crate time works best when the puppy is in a private room where they can not be stimulated by outside noise. Don't forget to use your Amazon Alexa. Simply say "Alexa Play Thunderstorm Sounds.

12:30PM-1:00PM

Time to wake up your puppy to go outside to potty! After that crate time your puppy is now refreshed. Again allow 10-15 minutes to let your puppy to go potty.

1:00PM

LunchTime! This is the second of the three meals your puppy will be eating. Allow puppy to eat as much as they would like for 10 minutes. Understand a puppy can become easily distracted so allow them time and space to focus on their meal. After 10 Minutes is up remove food. Allow puppy to also have water. Remove water when you remove food.

1:30 PM

Outside to potty. Give Puppy around 10-15 min to potty. When outside I allow puppies to focus on going potty so minimum interaction.

2:00 PM - 3:00 PM

FREE TIME! Do something fun with your puppy. Encourage play whether it be outside play or inside play. I like to take an hour out of the day to do something fun, socially stimulating, or sensory stimulating for my puppy. This is your creative window to open a new door for your puppy. Be sure your puppy is fully vaccinated before taking them off your property. At the end of this time Make sure your puppy takes a potty break before crate time.

3:00 PM- 5:00 PM

Now that your puppy has gone potty outside and had some free time. It is time for for a crate break. Consider this your puppy nap times. 5:00 PM

6:00 PM

Outside to potty. Give Puppy around 10-15 min to potty. When outside I allow puppies to focus on going potty so minimum interaction.

6:30 PM - 9:00 PM

Here is the long stretch. Time to play and tire your puppy before bed. This doesn't mean your puppy needs olympic play. Your puppy just needs a few toys and some interaction. Play can be with you or they can have independent play. The goal is just for them keep busy. In this time frame at 7:20pm, 8:20 pm, & 9:00 pm you will be taking your puppy out for the opportunity for them to go potty. Time to empty their systems before bed.

9:00 PM

Now that your puppy has gone potty outside and has had a fun day it is time for bed. Crate time works best when the puppy is in a private room where they can not be stimulated by outside noise. Don't forget to use your Amazon Alexa. Simply say "Alexa Play Thunderstorm Sounds.

11:30 PM

Last Call! Remove your puppy from their crate and give them one last chance to go potty outside. Return to the crate until tomorrows morning wake-up
